أدَاةُ اسْتِفْهَامٍ addaatustifhaam as shown by the examples below:

Interrogative articles are used to make interrogative expressions that are used to ask questions as shown below:
- أَينَ الْبُستَانُ؟ aina al bustaanu? Where is the garden?
- مَاذَا عَلَى الْكِتَابِ؟ maazaa 'alaa al kitaabi? What is on the book?
- أمِفْتَاحُ عَلَى الْكِتَابِ؟ a miftaahu 'alaa al kitaabi? Is a key on the book?
- مَن فِى الْمَطبَاخِ؟ man fii al maTbaaghi? Who is in the kitchen?
